  1. yes they are just as bad

  2. Diet soft drinks are almost as bad for you as their non-diet counterparts.

  3. The biggest thing in soda that we will probably never get away from is the use of high-fructose corn syrup.  It's a highly processed sugar that isn't really a sugar anymore, and it's extremely sweet and cheap, hence why it's used.  Splenda (sucralose), Nutrisweet (aspartame), Equal, and of course, sugar are used to sweeten it additionally, and save for -real- sugar, they're all bad for you.  I've never heard of sugarine, but I'll take your word for it as to its existence.  (It wouldn't surprise me, though maybe you're thinking saccharine?)

Sucralose tricks your body into treating it like sugar though it's not processed, so if you're diabetic it can cause long-term issues, aspartame is linked to cancer, and most sugar replacements become carcinogens when heated beyond their safety temperature.

Sure, diet sodas offer fewer carbs, calories, and sugars, but in my opinion, the costs/risks are higher than an extra 5 minutes on the Stairmaster to burn it off.

I love Pepsi too.  In fact, I prefer Pepsi over Coke.  Regular soda is better than the 'specially' marketed brands (Max, Diet, etc) but all in all, soda isn't good for you at all.  I'm in the process of eliminating it from my diet completely.  Whenever I get a hankering, I have a huge icy bottle of water to divert my attentions.

    I <3 icewater.

Dark soda also stains your teeth like tea and coffee.  If you're like me and get your teeth whitened annually, Pepsi is also your enemy.  :(

  4. All dark sodas are really bad for you...

You can't go wrong with water, milk and fruit juice.

If soda is what you crave, try drinking regular clear soda without caffeine.

  5. yes!!! coke zero, coke light and pepsi max is bad also just like your ugly face!!!

  6. It's very bad

  7. pepsi and coke r sorta bad for u because it has 41grams of sugar and 14 grams of total carbohydrates. it may also be good if u have one can a day that will increase the chance of high blood sugar and will not get u all highper. (spelling)that is my answer

  8. All fizzy drinks are bad for you but the diet ones are at least a step better than the normal ones.

So, if you have a Coke then do choose diet.
