Is differential equations hard?

Question

i enrolled for dq's this semester, i did calc 1 and calc 2 (according to a 3 semester calculus program)

the course title in which i enrolled into is called "modern differential equations"

is this course demanding?

I'll put it this way.  At my university, people called it "DiffEScrew" instead of "DiffEQ"

calculus is easy...i don't see what all the fuss is about!

Solving diff. eq. can be difficult.  It demands a lot of

calculation.  You need to be good in calculting integrals.

But the theory of diff. eq. is not that large because there

is a large class of equations that can not be solved

analytically by hand on paper.  So only the easy diff.

eq. can be solved on paper.

just pay attention in class and if you have a good teacher, you'll score good marks.
