  1. With 2-3 houses on every small lot, a water well for each home isn't practical and it rarely rains in SoCal anyway. Cutting down on water usage and bringing in more water may be the only answers.

  7. Australia is going through a similar drought and many things are been done to alleviate the water shortage.

    1)Many wells been dug

    2)Desalination plants been manufactured.

    3)Linking all water storage catchments to stabilise levels.

    4)Recycling plants for areas like industry and manufacture.

    5)Change people habits about water usage.

    6)More storage areas for storm water.

    7)House to install water tanks for garden and toilet use.

    It's only going to get worse.
