Is dimond head (the surf spot in oahu)near wikiki?

yes about 1-2 miles down the coast. Just follow the road around to the ocean side top of Daimond Head. Park walk down the path, paddle out catch waves get stoked, bragg to ur friends you surfed Daimond Head. Close to the lighthouse. Very long rides! Check conditions before goin out.

diamond head is just outside of waikiki towards hawaii kai. lighthouse is a good break, suicides is one of my fav spots around that area though, much less crowded but be prepared for a long paddle.

Diamond Head is in Waikiki... You sound like you'd best off in the shorebreak.

How good of a surfer are you? If you can handle 10 footers go to north shore and surf some of the best tubes in the world. Your best bet their would be sunset beach and pipeline.

If youre just starting out try Ewa beach on the west coast...Great starter waves and not near as crowded as waikiki
