  2. Since belief is our natural state, then, disbelief is an unnatural state and contrary to our nature.

  3. Disbelief is the absence of belief.  It means that you do not believe what you have seen or heard.

    Unbelief is the refusal to look or listen.  It may be caused by the belief that there is nothing to look at or listen to.

  4. It depends on the basis for disbelief. For example a Christian who disbelieves the evidence for evolution because it contradicts the bible is basing disbelief on belief, rather than reason or evidence, so yes, it can be.
