  1. It's possible. If it's labelled specifically for dogs I certainly wouldn't risk applying it to a cat - there are issues of body chemistry.  


  2. NO you can buy a big tube of it and split it between your animals.

  3. It can be. Dog medicines usually have different ingredients than cat medicines. Most of the ingredients in dog flea and tick meds are very toxic to cats. If you have cats in the house and use one of those flea/tick meds on your dog, you have to be careful that the cat does not come in contact with the dog.

  4. Always watch what is in the pkg.  Most are not but overdosing can cause death.  Stay away from advantix it is deadly to cats.
