  1. No it's not difficult, no worries:)It's just for 4 months...

If you reeeeally love dogs and everything around them, then it will be a piece of cake for you!

  2. Well ive never been, but ive heard its not easy but its not very hard. Should be fun!!! try it!

  3. i would say if you really want to do it, it can't be to hard.

  4. it depends upon which one u send it 2

  5.    Yes it's hard Grooming is hard work People have this idea that we just play with dogs all day. Not so you will have to learn how to deal with hard to handle dogs dogs that will want to bite and yes if your in this line of work you will get bit you will get hurt grooming is more then just clipping dog it's learning how to read a dogs body language showing no fear. You will have very sweet dogs and very hard dogs that will fight you the whole time not getting frustrated is key. It's not always easy you have to love working with dog and cats and yes you will have to learn how to work with them as well. This job can be fun and back breaking at the same time. I don't know you or if you can handle difficult but if you can't then don't go in this line of work. Because it is hard work.

  6. Don't expect to just glide through the school. If you are currently working as a bather/brusher at a grooming shop, then you should have some idea what grooming is like and if that is the case, then is should just be difficult to learn all the specifics on the patterns for different breeds and such. That is the hardest part.

I currently have one of my assistants going through a mentor-ship (same as the school, just one-on-one) and she is doing well just getting the patterns confused a lot.

Just don't go into dog grooming thinking that it will be all fun and games. you don't get to play with the animals all day, you will have to deal with ones that want nothing more than to do whatever it takes to get you to not groom them. It is actually VERY difficult. But if you are the kind of person that makes a good groomer, then you will love it. You may end up with scarred arms/hands (which I have from dogs fighting the process), but you have to still be able to control the pet that is just trying to get it's way. Learning body language of the dog is everything! But at the end of the day, you feel so good about what you have done for the pets. Good luck, and have fun!
