  1. I think you have a good chance to study abroad..you should make the most of this chance and the BS in USA is equivalent to BTech or BE..Because they do not have such demarcations as Bsc and BTech as we have..so I think a study abroad will help you to learn things in a different way..why not try it...if things go fine, you will have chances to do your PG and so on and settle down in a good job..and earn better than in India...this is the fact...If you come back to India for job, people in the top level will surely know what BS from US means and you need not worry about the name of the degree and the craze people have over that name...dont worry abt it....go ahead and study in the US..this is your chance...good luck.....

  2. see if u study in whatever field u r interested in & do a good result then it hardly matters what r u studying & in which country u r studying!as good result students r always preffered by companies. but yes d college really matters, its better 2 to study in india if u r B.TECH college is a reputed 1 (prefarably if govt. inst.) than 2 study in pvt. or less reputed college in other countries no matter what r u studying there!always see d college ist then country or subject.is u r interested 2 go 2 USA then u can easily go after u complete ur b.tech in india by giving GRE-TOEFELL , gmat!
