Is doing a round off tuck on the cheer floor different than on the grass?

i have my round off tuck on the cheer floor and my hand tuck but i have never tryed it on the grass. is it any different?

  1. yes. its alotttt different. you get no spring on grass as you do on a cheer mat. and if you fall, grass will hurt alot more.

    i've been doing roundoff backhandspring tucks at my allstar cheer pratice on a cheer mat and i was afriad to do it on grass.

    but i built up my confidence the other day and decided to go for it..

    i landed it and did perfectly fine..

    but id suggest you have a spotter when you do it for the first time on grass.


  2. Cheer floors have springs in them. So you are going to bounce when you do it. I suggest you have someone spot you on your first attempt.  

  3. YES, YES, YES!!!! if you try it on the grass have a spot your 1st time cause cheer floors have springs which help you and grass doesn't it so you might hurt yourself if you arent used to the difference. be careful!
