    Yes, your feet are together, but it's more than that. Think of doing the worm with your body. Your whole body should move in motion with your legs.

    When doing butterfly, you should do one little dolphin kick and then one big one.

  3. Sort of. If you just try using your legs you won't get very far. You have to put your whole lower body into it, especially your abs. It's easiest to learn by watching other people that can do it already and by pretending you're a dolphin.

    Actually, a really good animal to imitate is a beluga whale. You'll need to move a little faster than they do, but you can see on them which muscles you'll need to use. Their stomach and side muscles are really well developed and their fins give a nice little snap that you'll need to imitate with your feet.
