  1. Latin America cannot be located the way you think. The term Latin America means origined from Latin languaje, so countries where the origin languaje is Latin (Now Spanish)are part of LatinoAmerica..Dominican Republic is Caribbean. However, they speak spanish, so they are also LATINOS as well as Mexico.

  2. No, Dominican Republic (República Dominicana) is an independent country itself. It is located in the caribbean, in the island called "La Española" (I don't know how you call it in english, maybe "La Hispaniola"). In that island is located the independent country Haití. In Dominicana they speak spanish, it was a spaniard colony; the west side of the island was a french colony. Dominicana has never been part of México (wich, by the way is my homeland), but we both speak spanish and we both are latin americans; but México is in Northamerica and Dominicana is in the caribbean sea.

  3. Dominican Republic has never been part of Mexico. They speak spanish as well.

Dominican Republic is located in Central America, not North America, where Mexico Belongs.

    Hope this helps.
