It should be, however i've never been in september. Happy feet seems to know what he/she is talking about though and gives good advice!!

All i can say is, speaking from experience..

Ive been to the dominican republic twice (and will be returning)

the first time i went was last november and it rained every single day and most of each day at that! however, it was amazing! and i wanted to go back so badly i did jus 6 weeks later when the weather was beautiful! I loved it both ways.

The dominican republic is such a beautiful place with so much to see and do you won't be disapointed, regardless of the weather. I highly doubt the weather will be bad though, be confident cos your going to have an amazing time!!!!

Remember it is what you make it and you already have a head start choosing such a beautiful place!

dominican republic is nice the entire year but all i can say is that september is the last month of hurricane season so some showers may occur but it depends on where you are if you go to santiago and farther than that you will have problems with hurricanes if they happen but if you are in the capital santo domingo or in provinces that in the middle or are farther down then you should be ok.

Short answer : YES, and all year long, especially the north coast ( Puerto Plata were in 115 years only 3 hurricanes), so...enjoy your stay with us.
