  1. dreams are normal and it's believed that everyone dreams but some people just don't remember theirs. they represent your hopes, fears, likes, dislikes, basically whatever is on your mind, even stuff that you may not be aware of, all appear in your dreams.

the puffy eyes may be because you're having bad dreams which make you restless at night or maybe you're sleeping too much.

try putting a tea bag on your eyes in the morning

  2. If you're sleeping 6-8 hours then you're almost certainly dreaming multiple times every night.  While you're asleep you go through several sleep cycles, each is about ninety minutes long.  Each cycle is divided into five stages, you start in stage 1 which is the lightest and then progress to stage 4 which is a deep sleep.  Then you go back through stages 3 and 2 and finally into the fifth stage, called Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep.  It's during REM sleep that you experience dreams.  Almost all of these dreams are forgotten.  When you remember a dream, it's usually because you woke up directly from REM sleep.

The term Rapid Eye Movement refers, of course, to the fact that your eyes move rapidly during this stage of sleep.  Your body paralyses most of your muscles but not your eye muscles, so as you look around in your dream your eyes are actually moving.  But I've never heard of it causing eye puffiness.  Lack of sleep is certainly a possibility.  It could also be caused by too much salt in your diet, an allergic reaction, dermatitis or fluid retention.
