I'm trying to loose weight and I've been drinking a gallon of water a day. It's not all at once , it's spread out throughout the day usually in a 10 hour time frame. Is this ok for my body? Thanks for any response, and please no rude responses.

  1. Yes. Your supposed to consume 6 8 oz. glasses of water a day. But you don't want to drink much more then that. Don't forget about that mom who drank to much in that radio contest and she went home after and died.

  2. yes

  3. 1. That NORMALLY doesn't work.

    2. You have to much more water before you are in danger (losing to many electrolytes).

    3. You'll have to pee a lot :|

    So your fine.

  4. I wish i could do that!!! good for you.

  5. No.

Drinking that much water can dilute your electrolytes to a dangerous level. Anything over 8 glasses ( one half gallon) should be avoided except under a doctor's control.

  6. thats what you should do.

  7. i think you should try a safer diet. because  drinking all that water is not good for the kidneys. my father was recently in the hospital with kidney failure, and he loved drinking lots of water. and the doctors told him all that water is terrible for the kidneys. so they made him chew on ice chips they said it was safer. Hope it helped
