  1. Generally speaking, if you drink more than 2.5 litres of water a day, your body will have no requirement for the extra water and simply just pee it out.

  2. errm yeeeeaah, i guess so! At least your drinking water! haha!

  3. drinking water is healthy for everyone

    DRINK LOTS

    :)

  4. drinking that much water or more for anyone no matter how active or unactive they are is great.

water cant hurt you, it helps.

  5. It's not unhealthy unless you take medicine that can be diluted by too much water, since water flushes your system out.  I knew a person who they had to limit his water because he had an OCD about drinking water and drank too much. Then his medicine wasn't effective because it was so diluted that it didn't work. ( like antidepressant)

  6. Yes but dont over do it

  7. Apparently not - see the link below

  8. water is one of those things that if you take  double the needed amount, you'd still be all right.

if you take more water than your body needs, it gets excreted as urine. This is one way in which your body gets rid of wastes!

A healthy adult's gut should be able to absorb around 5-6 litres of water a day (Depending on size!! thats how you calculate needed water also!!). however, if water is consumed in amounts more than the limit that the gut can absorb, it will result in diarrhoea.

The only problem with drinking "too much" water for a long time is that you might be leaching your body off water soluble nutrients (e.g. vitamins). However, most of these are reabsored by your kidney!!...so basiclaly you're safe!

FYI: research shows that the best way for drinking water is to sip it rather than gulping it down!!

    Happy water drinking, mate

  9. Can't exactly do much damage can it; it'll help flush out your system and make things run more smoothly.

  10. No, it will upset your stomachs balance, could kill.

  11. I think 3 liters isn't too much as long as your kidneys are healthy.  You CAN drink too much water but I wouldn't think 3 liters would be too much when they tell you to drink 8 glasses of water per day anyway.

  12. Yes, as long as its in moderation.

The recommended amount is 2 liters per day.

If you try to drink it all very fast you can actualy be killed by it

because it over hydrates the body.
