  1. Well, no.  You could commit murder, die from an overdose of recreational drugs, catch an incurable sexually-transmitted disease, abuse your children, or try your hand at serial arson.  Not necessarily in that order.  Any of those would be worse things to do.

If you're trying to get perspective, that list should give you some.

However, if it's something that you're considering for yourself, please do consider it very carefully.  I won't claim that high school is necessary.  I will claim that it makes things much easier.

I finished high school.  Both of my sisters didn't.  However, they both earned their GEDs, got into community college, and continued from there.  So, yes, I know firsthand that it's not necessary.  But I also know firsthand that it didn't make things easier for them -- and I think they were very lucky.  Not every drop-out can manage to get an equivalence diploma right away.

If you *need* to drop out, you can.  If you don't absolutely need to, then it wouldn't be wise.

  2. maybe not the worst but DEFFINATLY a big no no....there so many things u can acomplish after u graduated.....why jepordize it by dropping out?

  3. I know of people who dropped out, and always got a low income, but on the other hand, people who have a reason to drop out, like they got pregnant, or their parents died, i'd see that as an exception, but if you want to earn more money, and you drop out of school, you can always go back to a community college to get your GED. Dropping out isn't the worst thing you could do, but make a pro and a con list about your situation, and seriously think about this before you do anything, because it will change your life... OH, and if you drop out now, you will have to pay later to get your GED, aren't you going to school for free???

  4. not the worst thing but its not a very good choice.

  5. It is in no way the worst thing you could do. If you stay in high school and finish it, it will look a lot better on a resume then drop out.

Trust me, i know many that dropped out and they cant keep a job.

At least, finish high school don't go to college if you don't want.

  6. no but you will regret it
