Is drumline fun in highschool?

Question

I do percussion and I want to do it in high school but I dont know if it is fun. And if you don't know about percussion can you tell me if marching band is fun and how it works?

If your an incoming freshmen, its not too late to be in drumline.

It might be more difficult depending on your school.

I am a freshmen in the pit, and for one of the movements I get to play marimba one.

Its a great experence and you make a lot of friends.

It can also be a lot of work.

My school practices all thought the summer.

Well I can't speak personally because I wasn't in band or drumline in high school but my Fiance was and I know he really enjoyed it and he has a lot of friends that he met because of drumline.

I am the grade 8 lead percussionist at taroona high school in tasmania

and if your'e high school has a music program anything like at mine then definately be in the drumline at the school.

Drumline in high school is amazing!  You can be in pit [stationary percussion] or battery [marching percussion].  You should def try it!

okay if you are a rising freshman, it's too late to be on the drumline, much less try out. if you want to be on it, learn all the scales and rudiments and stay in percussion. it works the rest of the band, you'll find that out when you get there
