  1. if it's prepared with Chinese techniques, then yes it can be Chinese. Sometimes, it's not just the ingredients. For instance, duck a'lorange is French. That's duck with an orange based sauce, but it's still duck and orange. Both are things that you find in all sorts of cuisine.

  2. Duck with pineapple is a Chinese dish, so yes it is Chinese food. However your girlfriend is also right as pineapple is native to Brazil.

The white Peking duck is native to China, so I guess you can say that you tied..you are both right!

  3. yes it is!!!

they also use it for sweet'n'sour!!!

maybe because it's not grown in  china....

  4. Is it a combination of duck and pineapple cooked together?  Or were the two just served together?

Either way, Im thinking it might be hawaiian.  Although, duck is primarily chinese!

    This is a hard one...lol.

  5. Chinese people rarely use pineapples in their cooking. I think duck+pineapple is a Thai dish. I know a Thai curry dish that has duck and pineapple in it.

  6. I know that duck is chinese but im not so sure about pineaple.

but when they go together, maybe it is.

  7. I like tomatoes too. We all have that problem sometimes, and im here to help you. you can e-mail me at chicken_pie@hotmail.com I am helping you.
