  1. my brother bought a cell phone from some guy on ebay and it broke in like 4 months

  2. That's wut i thought at first..but now i'm just addicted to ebay...

  3. yes,it is trustworthy

  4. Yes and no, it depends on the seller.  There are legitimate sellers out there who sell you exactly what they're advertising.  However, there are dishonest sellers out there who sell fake knock-offs and bootleg merchandise.  You have to be careful.  Check the seller's feedback.  Scores of 99 and 100% are typically good sellers to buy from.  However, I wouldn't suggest buying a cell phone online.  It's better to get it through your service provider given that phones are usually made to fit a particular service provider.  That seller might be selling the model phone you want but it may not be compatible with your service provider.  For example, Iphones only work with at&t so unless your service provider is at&t the phone wouldn't be compatible.  Another example, the razr is used by several providers but you can only get the one that's compatible with your particular provider so if your provider's verizon you can't get a t-mobile compatible razr.

  5. Yes, usually. Check their feedback and it should really tell you if their reliable from there. I personally have had no bad experiences with eBay, buying 3 guitars, webcams, Nintendo DS and items like that. Alot of people are genuinely looking to just get rid of things they don't want, so if you like the phone yeah I'd go for it. Hope that helps :)

  6. absolutely

READ THE ENTIRE AUCTION, including TERMS, shipping, how to pay.  Some sellers will not sell to you if you dont pay by Paypal.  Others wont accept Paypal at all.

go with a seller that has good feedback and not alot of negatives.

Is the item new?  used?  refurbished?

check the shipping cost, sneaky people will attempt to sell the item cheap and then charge you tons for shipping.  An honest shipper/seller will list the ship costs right up front.  If it seems high, go on to another seller that is reasonable and honest.

pay with Paypal or credit card that will document your payment and allow you to dispute the purchase if its a phony or fraudulent seller

  7. My tip is to only buy things that you can pick up, you can do that by asking for the things to be listed by distance first, dont buy electrictial items, check their feedback .

  8. ebay is very safe.  Check the seller's feedback.  I won't buy from a seller with less than 97-98% positive feedback.  Also, read the feedback comments and they will tell you if buyers didn't get their items, the shipping was slow, or the item was not as described.

Read the details in the auction carefully and ask questions before buying.

There are ways to resolve problems after you buy, but they are more difficult and time-consuming.

  9. yea it is really good...and u are protected by ebay for a certain amount for a purchase...just check their feedback and score if its good ur pretty safe

  10. usually

check out the sellers feedbacks if you bid
