Is early April a bad time to visit Cape Town?

No it is not but it is allready cold then and rainy, but there are so many things to do in and around cape Town that anytime is a good time to visit, it is a beautiful place.

One of the big pluses about going to Cape Town in April is that it is not high season and the prices, especially of accommodation, go down. And because there are not hoards of tourists and the staff have more time to devote to you, the personal service goes up. You will want to take a rain resistant wind breaker and some sweaters. It can get quite chilly and very windy. But, as Lise and others have said, there are a lot of things to do and see. And the weather should not spoil shopping (some of the diamond outlets have tours that are good), museums, theaters, operas, concerts and things like that.

It depends if you want a little rain!!! But any time  of the year it CT is amazing!!

i am from south africa and ANYTIME in Cape Town is a bad time to go. forget the weather, its too violent.

It's a good time, because it's not too hot or rainy then. There are so many things to see and do so you should come when the weather is right.
