Is early in the morning the only time that the mailman picks up mail ?

I live in miami. But it should be about the same in the United states.

I am going to drop off some mail at tyhe post office. The mailman does pick up the mail later on in the day as well right?

Depending on what part of a city you live in, the times for mail pick up and drop off vary.  I would suggest visiting your local post office and asking them what time the mail is usually delivered in your area.

Yes, at least 3 times a day. Morning, noon and late afternoon approx.
