Nope, not at all.

Venus is hotter than Earth and has way more CO2. It is even closer to the sun and has of course a higher surface temperature. Today, Venus is still hotter than Earth.

Nope, but there is a definite link between Venus and global warming!

Venus has a much higher surface temperature.  When scientists first discovered how hot Venus was, they looked for reasons and discovered that the planet's atmosphere trapped heat.  This is where the theory of the greenhouse effect comes from.

Venus has a super green house effect. It has thick poisonous carbon dioxide atmosphere 90 times the pressure on Earth, Sulfuric Acid clouds & 450 Celsius surface temperature. If you landed on Venus you would be poisoned, squashed, burnt and dissolved!

So no, the Earth is a far nicer place to live, due its modest green house effect.
