Is east islip ny a good town? does it have a good school district?

I just moved here and I want to know the simple details...... Please people who know the details answer. Thank you!:)

As far as I know East Islip is a good town (I have family and friends in West Islip).  I'm not too sure about the school district, but I hear it's not bad and is fairly good.  Average income is higher in the area than other areas (but then again, you're talking Long Island).  The downside is that since you're in Suffolk County, you're a little farther away from the city but can get on the LIRR and be in in about an hour.  You are, however, close to beaches and parks.
