Is eating coffee grinds poisonous to budgies?

I found my budgies in the laundry room eating coffee grinds. They ate like 5 tiny peices but isn't this poison? I rinsed their mouths with water but what do so they don't die?

Coffee including the grinds is a problem for birds because of the caffeine content.  He only at a tiny amount but he is a tiny bird.  I would recommend calling your local emergency vet or your local avian vet if they have someone to answer after hours and see if they feel you should bring him in
