You can buy packages of ramen at a grocery store. I have a strange addiction of eating it right out of the package. You are supposed to cook it though.

I was wondering if eating it raw is bad for you or not. Answers please?

  1. not any worse that eating it cooked;  and, since you're not using the flavor packet, it won't have all the sodium in it.   You can add the crunched up raw noodles to a package of shredded coleslaw cabbage;  and then mix the flavor packet into some mayo with a little vinegar, and use that as the coleslaw dressing......

  2. it actauuly is not a raw noodle.  I like to eat it like that too.  You are fine except that it is very fattening.... no matter if you cook it or not.

  3. It's no worse than eating cooked ramen.

  4. no it's not bad.

  5. isn't it crunchy and gross?

  6. Just FYI, there is a new Ramen Noodle, I think it is Nissin - Choice Ramen, and it is lower in fat, calories and I believe sodium and tastes just as good, although I don't know how it tastes raw.

  7. Oh no.. no its not, i love to eat it without cooking it!
