Is eating this weird?

Question

I have a friend who is vegetarian and she said that she sometimes eats sour cream sandwiches, I thought it was disgusting! I know other vegetarians but eat regular stuff never heard of anyone eating a sour cream sandwich, sour cream doesn't even taste like anything to me.

Although vegans wouldn't eat sour cream, as they

do not eat any type of animal product.

Vegetarians however, simply don't eat meat.

But either way, you are right.

Plain sour cream on bread would be the most

bland and tasteless "sandwich" I could think of!

And I LOVE sour cream!

Oh well..Go figure.

I never got a chance to taste sour cream, I probably wouldn't have liked it anyway.

i like fried pickles...some think thats a little bit wierd but oh well..and before becoming a vegetarian i ate raw oysters and alligator tail

first, yes sour cream is vegetarian, it's not vegan but it is vegetarian

and second, that's weird but if she likes it that's fine

Sounds pretty nasty to me, but my friends are grossed out that I sometimes like to eat slivers of butter. Some of my friends find it gross that I like to eat pickles. I mean, gross/weird varies from person to person.

No biggie. The sour cream sandwich isn't about being vegetarian, it's just a taste preference.

There are obviously lots of people who don't share your distaste for sour cream. By coincidence, my wife and I had a lovely Bulgarian chicken dish for dinner this evening. It consists of chunks of chicken breast, sour cream, and some delicate herbs and spices, served on bulgur wheat cooked with onion.

I'm a vegetarian and I eat things that may seem weird to some people. Like a french fries and beans taco. I think it tastes good. Sure a sour cream sandwich may sound weird, but it probably tastes good to her. I mean I've know pregnant women (including my mom) who have eaten weirder things than that.

(Oh and to the person above me sour cream is vegetarian, no meat, but not vegan.)

I've never heard of making a sandwich with sour cream and nothing else. Why doesn't she just eat it straight from the tub or put it on crackers? That seems like it would make more sense.

Sour cream and nothing else? Sometimes I like to add vegan sour cream to some of my sandwiches.

i don't get vegetarians, some of them eat dairy, some of them eat fish...what...do they choose who to protect...

yah, it's weird but who cares.  we are all weird in our own way.  i like pickle and cheese sandwiches.
