Is eating too much protein/fiber bad?

ive been trying to eat alot of protein so that i can get muscle, and ive also been trying to make sure to eat alot of fiber so i stay regular,

but last night i put my food intake onto a website and it told me that i had almost double the reccommended amount of fiber and protein. is that bad? could bad things happen to me?

  1. You shouldn't continue like that.

    Eating too much of ANYTHING is bad. Even fruit and veggies!

    So just stabilize it to the recommended amount and you're good to go (:


  2. Eating too much protein and fiber can cause a variety of problems, most usually nothing more seroius than constipation though.

    If you were more physically active and did strength training, a high protein diet could still be maintained.

    It is actually very difficult to eat too much protein without protein supplementation, which is why I have my doubts about the site you visited.

  3. Both Protein & Fiber is good for your body whether the fact you’re into building muscles or not.

    Majorly, Proteins are essential to the structure and function in our body; feeding your living cells.

    We as Human think a lot.

    Therefore, having Protein intake daily feeds our brains.

    Yes—it also helps body builders to build their body / muscles.

    BUT—there’s a difference between a person’s everyday Protein source and body builder’s Protein source.

    STILL—it doesn’t effect a person, who take too much of these. But there’s no need to over dose yourself with Protein & Fiber. There are other foods to be enjoyed thou you’re into having muscles and being fit.

    And Fiber; it’s a digestion aid and it cleans out your intestines.

    And it’s a proven result that the fact; Fiber prevents many diseases of our digestive system.

    BUT—if you eat Fiber; then, you must drink a lot of water.

    Or else your stools / sh*t will become hard.

    And you will suffer from constipation.

    If you want to have muscles and stay regular; you can try these steps.

    Have a glass or two containing water. Just plain water when you wake up in the morning.

    Once you’re out from the shower, have a glass of fruit juice. You can mix milk with banana (usually one or two). You can also switch, instead of milk… add your Protein Powder. Put into the blender and blend it. You can also add Apples. Strawberries, Raspberries or a few Carrots with either milk or your Protein shake. ( It depends what’s your flavor like)

    Then, either get dressed to head the Gym or step into your workout machine (if you workout from home.)

    Once you’re home from gym. Drink two more glass of water.

    Have breakfast. Maybe, two half boiled eggs with two / four slice of toasted bread.

    Don’t eat the egg yoke.

    Only the white filling. Eggs too helps to build muscles.

    Lunch, you can have some Chicken Salad together with some soup of the day. Maybe two slice of French Bread.

    Dinner, you can have some grilled Salmon. Together with some Mushroom and Broccoli (steamed / stirred fried).

    Then for supper, maybe a glass of warm Milk together with some Honey. You can have one or two Choc-cho Cookies to blend with the milk.

    * Well, it all depends what’s your taste when it comes to food.

    * The above said is only an example.

    * You can mix & match the fruits / vegetables according to your taste bud.
