  1. no ebay cost money. there is another site like ebay called kjiji.com/.ca but if you do use ebay make sure you search the seller information and what people write about them.

  2. Ya, I've got great deals on a couple basses I bought off there, just be sure to do your research first though, read some other customer reviews of that guitar on various other sites, and make sure you check the customer feedback, I never buy an instrument from a seller on ebay with a lower than 99.5% feedback.

  3. It's ok, but it's not the best place. For one, it's not that safe, and you might get ripped off. Also, you're not there and not getting a feel for the guitar. If you're looking for sweet guitar deals, try looking for your nearest "Daddy's Junky Music" store. It's basically a thrift store for guitars. Insanely good deals on used and new products. If you're looking for a good cheap Gibson, you can try the knock-off version: Epiphone. They have really authentic, and less authentic versions. Nonetheless, they're really cheap compared to real Gibsons. The Daddys Junky Music site isn't always that accurate, I think the actual store stock and online stock are different. Cause' I went there to ask for a guitar they had online and it wasn't there, yet it was on the website still when I returned home.

  4. it is but its not the safest place to buy

  5. You could find one there, but theres a chance it won't get shipped, or get shipped to the wrong place, Your best bet would be to go to the local music store (if any).

  6. It is, as long as you are VERY careful in choosing a guitar. There are many scam artists out there wanting to make a few dollars off of fools.

i.e. : This guitar is a fake, even if it looks real.

There should be plenty of information on the guitar, even if it's not technical. And ask a few very easy questions about it. i.e how old is it, check for discrepencies and always check the reputation of the seller.

  7. I buy and sell on ebay all the time, you would have to research and do your homework. Personally, a lot of times it is a guess on what you are getting, because some ppl lie. Don't buy from the stores, buy from the ppl, they will be more truth full than the stores that sell stuff. Trust me and my mistakes.
