  1. YES

  2. It is pretty easy to use.  When you list an item, it just takes you from screen to screen, and you fill in the answers.  Has a spot you click on to add pictures from your computer.  Ebay sends you an 'invoice' - comes into your Ebay mailbox, and you pay it through PayPal.  I listed stuff from work and sold $8000 worth in 2 months.  It was a lot of work getting stuff ready to ship and then shipping it and following up, but it sure was worth it.  The only caution I would add is don't list an item without a minimum price that you are prepared to live with if it sells for that minimum price!  Some items only get one successful bidder and you don't want to feel bad for 'giving it away'.

  3. Yes, it is fairly easy to learn to use. However, be sure to describe any widget you list accurately. Remember, the buyer can't see the item so you need to put as much detail as you can in the listing, INCLUDING any flaws. State whether it's new or used.

Take really good pictures. I hate seeing ANYTHING in the background of my pictures (i've been on eBay for about five years). So use a white or plain colored sheet as a backdrop. If you know how to use photobucket, host your photos there. It's free. Just use eBay to add a gallery photo then pop any other photos you have of the item in the listing using photobucket.

Even though it's pretty easy to learn how to list - it's not really easy to sell lately. They have made ALOT of changes. Sellers CANNOT leave a buyer negative feedback - no matter what. You have to have good buyer ratings about you, or your items will be lowered in the search when potentional customers search for your items.  Competition is tough. Plus, if you're thinking of selling electronics or brand name clothing - you're going to have a tough time. There are many restrictions to "cut down on fraud". I've seen sellers selling authentic items get kicked off because somebody reported them as a fake.

You pay eBay once a month. They rack up your fees.
