Is ebay reliable and can i trust it?

i've never really used it and i might want to order something off it.

its very reliable as long as you read all of the product descriptions... never pay for cash for anything.... try to always buy from people that have a high user rating and a large number of transactions.. also use paypal as you will have a receipt for everything. dont buy things from overseas unless you are wanting to wait a really long time,, and you may not receive it

I have been a member for about 3 years and have purchased about 135 items off Ebay. I have purchased big things like phones to smaller things like book and CD's. I have only been ripped off once, but I filed a claim and got my money back. So yeah it's safe. Just pay attention to peoples ratings.
