Is ebay reliable for shipping goods?

I am living in INDIA...

I wanted to ship in many goods like xbox 360 and ps3 and quad core to my place in INDIA from ebay because it offers good price value since goods in INDIA are a bit expensive.

Is it reliable to ship in goods from USA or any other country outside india through ebay?

Please help!!!

Whenever you ship something to someone that has purchased it from you on Ebay, 1st make sure that you have received your payment BEFORE you ship your merchandise.  2nd, make sure the buyer has a CONFIRMED shipping address. 3rd, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS send everything "delivery confirmation" that way you have proof that the item was deliverd to the address that the buyer gave you.  If they do not have a confirmed shipping address, you MUST send it "signature confirmation".  That way they will have to sign for the item and this will give you proof from the post office that they received the item.  Follow my advice and you won't get screwed.
