  1. I hope it happens because there is no point in watching it anymore!

  2. If they do merge that would be like......??

The wwe needs some new ideas quick..

RAW + ECW = EXTREME RAW WRESTLING

Welcome to Monday Night ERW, well actually

Welcome to Monday Night Extreme Raw

    ....

  3. thank god it's ending. it's monkey c**p. it's useless.

  4. a few months ago there was an article on wrestlezone.com about ECW cancelling and the ECW superstars going to RAW. I don't know if it's happening for sure or when it is

  5. I don't think so.  Up until a few weeks ago, it was scheduled to merge with Raw and tour with them on Mondays, and you've got to believe with a talent pool of midcarders on Raw that get little air time, like Jamie Noble, Chuck Palumbo, and William Regal, they would've made ECW watchable and interesting again.

They really didn't lose anyone of consequence.  How often was Nunzio booked?  And when he was booked, how often did he win?  It's an hour long show, it doesn't need a packed roster.  They could do just as well with 16 people on the roster, honestly enough.

In conclusion, I don't think Vince would end ECW after giving it a new title.  That seems a bit wasteful.

  6. no, whered u hear that?

  7. i think with how small the roster is that it is always a possibility, especially since they lost there main guy cm punk to raw, there not a main event show, only an hour long and is stood up week after week by smackdown and raw

  8. When it was said that ECW would merge with Raw it was meant that house shows and tapings would be together, not that the two shows would become one. I don't think it's going to end it's just going to lose viewers especially seeing as they got screwed in the draft and WWE incessantly releases people (Braden "Chris Harris" Walker excluded - dawm he was out of shape and sloppy as h**l for a wrestler, even by ECW standards) from the brand. It'll be a developmental show with a few established vets. (by veterans I mean Henry, Matt Hardy). The problem is having such a mis-match of quality. Evan Bourne, Matt Sdyall, is a star for the future no doubt, Miz and Morrison could slot in on any of the other shows, Henry kinda deserves a run due to his long-term service for the company (but his reign, Shelton's and Kofi's could be due to aiming at their demographic or as rumoured on many sites due to the racism issue with Michael Hayes) but the likes of Colin Delaney and Atlas Ortiz have no future in the business. There's no two ways about it. They'll be kept on short-term but as wrestlers, they will never flourish.

The WWE will keep ECW as the lower level show much like heat was for a long time. Very little match-time, the occasional stand-out match and simply a testing ground for people the WWE are looking to push. As long as they have a contract for the show to be aired and the ratings don't drop too dramatically (this time of year is generally the worst for WWE ratings) I expect the show to continue without ever really prospering.

  9. hey there talking about a raw and ecw merger

    so maybe

  10. i hope so it's really boring and some fans cant even watch it live. smackdown and ecw are taped at the same place and there is less fans when ecw starts than when smackdown begins

  11. the only way ecw will end is if vince puts a end to it..its sci fi highest rated show and if the ratings start to fall he can bring them up but having a hardy boy renunion or something

  12. I dont see ECW making it for the next 2yrs srry just dont its like a developemental terriory or the new sunday night heat
