  1. no. christianity is.

  2. No, I believe drive and desire play equal parts with education.  I am educated and success has been easier for me (a blessing that I acknowledge and appreciate) than for a few others that I know.  My brother dropped out of school, got a GED and finally (at age 30) has his first decent job.  He will do well because he has a strong work ethic, but I hate for him that it took him a decade to get the ball rolling.

  3. I thought that education was the best way to success. However, there are many who have inherited wealth and success from their families, and many self made Millionaires that did not have higher education. Research the Billionaires and Millionaires, and get some background before you debate, in order to have some names.

  4. No, but it is the one with a highest chance  and helping you on your way

  5. no... i don't think so... not all succesful person finished their college... but take note, not all educated persons are successfull...but i must admit that education is a huge percentage for success... it's just like a stepping stone to reach your goals... education will be nothing without hardwork, faith and a great great patience... by the way, which side are you in?

  6. no look at paris hilton.

  7. no.

  8. no so is perseverance, detirmination, and some luck

  9. Yes. Its the most likely path to success. Who you know matters too, but education will act as an instrument to meet that someone. The chances of you aimlessly going through life without an education and being a big shot is possible, but unlikely.

  10. No, you need intelligence, motivation, drive, imagination, desire, and of course, hard work.

Some people dream of success...others wake up and work at it!

(I don't know who said it, I saw it and it stuck with me)

  11. its not WHAT you know, its WHO you know!

  12. No, it's harder though without an education.

  13. Yes, because  if you don't make a job, then you can find another one because you are smart!

  14. To answer this question you would first need to define success.

  15. It's not the only key, but, as my father always said, you can't keep an educated man (or, of course, woman) down.  It doesn't have to be formal education; a truly educated person never stops learning.  Abraham Lincoln had very little formal education, but he educated himself and became one of the greatest men in American history.

And, Trudy, good for you, but surely along your way to the top, you learned things so that you could progress, right?

  16. yes it is

  17. I think that education has a lot to do with success, but there are a select group of people who didn't need a lot of education, just made their way to the top by their street smarts.

  18. While education is an important tool in life and business, you can become very successful without having an education. There have been many famous people that did something with their lives and not had an education for it. For example, Hugh Hefner was a high school graduate and then joined the army. There are many options open to you if you don't want to go to college. But please, at least finish high school

  19. No it isn't ,you can also have success if you do something you love and do well. I for instance started at the bottom and within a few years i was a corp. Manager and made some big bucks.

  20. No.

Because of how many uneducated successes there are.

  21. I think it might be. My supervisor didn't go to college (I'm a receptionist in a hospital) and she is really good at her job, has been here for over 10 years but cannot be promoted because she doesn't have a business/administrative degree.

  22. To short tem success, no.  But you need an education to be successful in the long term.  Luck and charm can only get you so far before people will realize you're an idiot.  Even if your daddy was the president.
