Is eight days long enough to get a thai visa?

i am travelling to thai land on the 29th on a one way ticket i need to get a tourist visa. The problem i have is the vietnamese embassy have my passport as they are processing a tourist visa for me i will not be getting my passportack untill the 20th which leaves me eight days untill i leave will i be able to get a thai visa in this time if i apply in person at the embassy in london. how long does it take for them to process it?? am i ******???

if u leave on the 29th yes u will have enough time to go to the thai embassy
u go to the thai embassy the morning u leave
but keep this in mind u always lose a few days of your visa
so dont count the day u get the visa
the thai immigration start the visa from when u pass through the immigration check point
