  1. Sorry I answered your other question as well. I you have dyslexia and are looking to see if it is going to affect you the answer is only as much as you let it affect your self esteem.

Richard Branson has dyslexia you know!!

  2. yes he was but he was still brilliant

  3. he stopped being dyslexic and he stopped being a "mathematician" the very moment he died but check out my spelling

  4. i have Asperger Syndrome

  5. i think he had tourettes

  6. Does it  matter he was a genius.  Dyslexia doesnt affect your intelligence, just your visual interpretation of letters, numbers and symbols.

  7. We're talking Albert Einstein, right? He's dead, aint he?

He was a physicist... you need all sorts of memory, understanding and cognitive reasoning, very similar to a mathematician. Not sure if dyslexia was a recognised condition when he was at school... if he was, then it didnt appear to hold him back any. Wikipedia mentions nothing about dyslexia or any other learning problems in his childhood or adulthood.

If you are looking for someone that is dyslexic and successful in the field, then surely it is better to start with someone that you know is or was dyslexic rather than just going through them one at a time... Faraday... was Faraday dyslexic? Rutherford, was he dyslexic? You could be here for a while!

Dyslexic or not, frankly, with a case study like Einstein, such is your want, you are going to fail to be able to draw any conclusions about the nature of your condition. He was an extraordinary mind who managed to think in a manner that no one else previously had managed to do. That's it, really. He's not representative of dyslexics in much the same way he is not really representative of the average human being! Oh what a lovely world it would be if only that were true!

  8. No. It was discovered that his brain was not divided into two hemispheres like most folks. He did not have that separating crevice that would be visible in the back if we could look inside everyone's head. His left and right hemispheres were thoroughly connected enabling him to tap into information from language on the left and math on the right, etc.

  9. I don't know exactly what form his dyslexia took, but he was definitely dyslexic.  I think he had a problem with reading comprehension, and I know for sure that he didn't speak until age 3.  Short term memory is remembering names of people you have just met, things that you learn the same day or in the same sitting and have to recall them immediately.  Long term memory is remembering names, birthdays, addresses, what will be on the test next week, etc.

  10. Yes Einstein was Dyslexic (he's dead).

  11. use past tense love, he's dead!!

  12. Was Einstein dyslexic????

  13. Albert Einstein did have Asperger Syndrome, which is a high-functioning form of autism. I'm not sure about the dyslexia. I know people w/autism can have dyslexia. I'd check out Wikipedia. I can see this question seeks knowledge, not to be insulting to persons with dyslexia. I don't know how anyone could see it as an offense.
