Yes, he is Jewish on both sides of the family. I've read in some of the answers that he's secular from a religious standpoint; I fail to see what that has to do with him being Jewish. You're either Jewish...or you aren't, religion has nothing to do with it. An Italian Jew who worships Christ is still a Jew.

Either way, he's a criminal, but will not likely be charged due to his prestigious office and possibly the support of New York City's Jewish community.
