is this statement correct?

First, conserving electricity saves not only money, but the environment too. Luckily, there are other ways than becoming Amish to save energy. Simple things such as turning off lights when you’re not using them, and not leaving ineffective electronics plugged in all day. Other ways to go green are too use as many solar powered items as possible. Technology is improving everyday by introducing new eco-friendly product. Even though energy is, for the most part, man- made, the ways to make that energy affects the atmosphere. Many energy plants burn coal or other fossil fuels to produce energy, therefore when you waste energy they are burning fossil fuels unnecessarily, and this puts things like CO2 into the air, which contributes to global warming. The more and more people use energy, a greater demand for them is in effect.

  1. energy comes from the sun

  2. We must use fossil fuels today so that space is made in the earth for the new fossil fuels to be made for our later use.   Its like the food chain but its the power chain.

  3. WRONG !!! All energy comes from the sun. The plants capture it and it is stored in the seeds . Making CO2 is just part of the requirements for plants to make this energy. Plants take in CO2 and give us oxygen ,but the plants keep the C. without CO2 the plants would die.

  4. You're mainly correct.  Energy isn't so much man made as harnessed. I'd change your last sentence to "The more fossil fuels we burn, the greater the harm to our planet".
