  1. Depends on you.  Both are worthy but you should make your choice based on what your strengths/weaknesses are.  Engineering and medical both require attention to detail and teamwork - medical you deal with more people, if you s***w up engineering then you generally need medical!

  2. What do YOU love doing on a daily basis?  Both are very good fields.  If you enjoy helping people and dealing with people, then perhaps medical.  Given the aging populace, then healthcare should provide good work security and stability.  However, insurance is also an issue as that will likely increase causing headaches.  Insurance is less of a problem in engineering (but can still be present).  If you LOVE playing with cement, computers, software, electronics...  Well, engineering maybe your your forte!   Money can help, but it won't buy health and happiness.  An old adage runs "find what you love to do and the money will follow".

Also, consider which medical/engineering field you wish to go into.  The education costs may be cost prohibitive for the return in salary later on.  You work may reimburse you for studies in engineering, but may not pay for medical school.  but again, if you LOVE what you are doing during the day at work...

  3. Medical

  4. Engineering! The patients are made of metal, plastic or concrete and do not cry when you cut them in two!

  5. engineering!
