Is england really heading for a ressetion?

I heard a few radio reports recently, but how likley is it to occure. And if so what will it mean to me... i live in a rented house and my job is stable, i work for RM installing projectors in schools. Also is it likely to make house prices fall?

House prices will fall,  a lot of the talk is media scare. would could slip into recession, but a lot of things could happen in the short future which all affect the ecomony fuel prices drop (more likely to rise) wars, a stonger european market, change of goverment could improve consumer confident.

your in a good postion, schools will always need projectors and if their is a cut back in public spending schools will be unlikely to be hit, considering there is general election within the 2 years (not good for winning votes), you rent so you won't be affected by higher interest rates.

who knows what will happen in the future ! some experts say yes to recession, but some say no .

Odds are high that we'll be in a recession by year end. Though, tbh, things can change rapidly. It's entirely dependent on how the government, banks and society deal with it that will determine if we enter a recession, and how bad it will be.

Recession always creates a situation where house prices fall.  If you are renting but are also able to save a deposit, it will be the ideal time for you to buy.  We are heading towards recession fast in Britain and because it is a global recession there will be many different manifestations in the lives of the average person.

We're probably in a recession but don't yet have the economic data to support the fact.  This is because a recession is defined as two quarters of negative growth in GDP.  So you can be in one for almost 8 weeks, or more before you can substantively prove it.
