Often on these boards, gender discrimination is demonstrated with outcomes instead of opportunity. For instance, when "proving" that there is gender discrimination in the workforce, stats on how much less women are paid are presented. However, it is rarely discussed and almost never shown exactly which part of an employers policy is biased against women. I contend that high levels of success in any part of a persons life will occur to the detriment of other parts of that person's life. What I am saying is that if you want to truly dominate the business world, you will likely have to discard any notions of a family or children. How many successful men have children who either hate or don't know them? So in a round about way, my question is this; Do women have a right to be equal or simply a right to equal opportunity? And how do you feel your answer to this question affects your position on feminism?
