  1. If you consume too much and go on a destructive rampage it is very bad for the environment.


  2. Well, not really but it can oxidise in the lower atmosphere to give some unpleasant aldehydes.

    It cannot be a gasoline substitute as the energy balance to grow and ferment corn is hopeless.  Biofuel is a hopeless Bush driven myth.

    Best environment for ethanol is in a nice relaxing glass of red wine .... enjoy!
