  1. Disney everything is expensive, but I think your dad is correct that Euro is pricey.  Besides, there is fascinating things in Europe, don't lose precious time in yet another Disney Make Believe land...  Go to the Louvre instead!

  2. Impress you Dad by knowing that the currency in France in the euro, not pounds (that's Engralnd).

You can get prices at Disney's web site (see below).  It seems to be around $67 (adult) to $80 (park hopper to see both parks).

The park is actually "Disneyland Paris" and not "Euro-Disney" (they changed the name a few years ago).

It is a smaller park than the US ones.  There are some unique things (like the dungeon in the castle), but it's mainly the same as Magic Kingdom or Disneyland.

Given that Europe is expensive, more so for Americans (based on the strength of the dollar), Disney is expensive... you have a triple reason why it's not cheap.

But, if your family were true Disney fans, it's worth a day trip.  For a Disney fan, it's not a rip-off.

Might I suggest that you offer some way to pay for it, if Dad doesn't want to spend the money?  Do you have a job or some money saved?
