  1. Hi, there they are normally harmless but can be very annoying

i bet you see them more when your either focusing on something or you are in a bright lit room or even looking at the sky, loads of us really do have them so please dont worry,

    hope this helps

  2. Most floaters are harmless and quite common, especially if you're nearsighted. Floaters can be a sign of retina trauma, such as a torn or detached retina, but not always. If you are concerned, I'd check with your optometrist or ophthalmologist. More than likely, though, you're fine. Good luck!!

  3. The occasional eye "floaters" are normally harmless, however when there is a recurring pus causing pain, discomfort or inability to see clearly, this could be due to infection of the eye and may be dangerous. Read about it more in the link provided.

  4. Floaters, where there are a few, usually aren't a real problem but if you suddenly notice an increased number, or you start having other symptoms like flashes of light, redness, eye pain, etc., you need to see an eye doctor.  If there are flashes, get yourself to the eye doctor THAT DAY as that may mean possible retinal detachment and if you wait you could lose your sight.  That's a very serious issue.

If you are currently noticing floaters that you hadn't really noticed until recently, you should get it checked out just to be sure.
