biden is a six term senator who has run for pres a couple of times.  i am sure most who follow politics know of him and his record. not sure obama could have made a better choice but i am not sure biden will help obama overcome his inexperience. seems like the ticket should have been the other way around. much stronger for the dems that way i think.

Actually I have said from the beginning that Biden is one of the few Democrats I could support as President.  Too bad he is shooting fro the Vice-Presidential spot.

LOL.  The fanatical right-wing was just praying for Obama to pick Clinton as his running.  This supposed "dream team" would have been just what the GOP needed to bring out their ultra-conservative minions to the polls as Hillary is quite the lightening rod for criticism.  Now it seems the Republican attack dogs have had their plans derailed with the selection of a seemingly moderate Democrat with huge foreign policy credentials, which does not bode well for McSame as foreign policy/national security is what his campaign was banking on to win him this election.  

However, there is one major liability on Biden's part that neither the Republicans nor most Democrats have addressed:  He is simply too sympathetic towards Israel for his own good (and that of the nation) and has openly admitted to being a Zionist.  This would play a huge role in foreign policy under Obama, especially regarding Middle Eastern affairs.

Yes, LOL. I think that Obama made an excellent choice, to be honest. I've always liked Biden, for many reasons, and Obama has just given me one more good reason to vote for him.

Steve - Have you gotten your names mixed up? If you ask me, McCain is the one who will be lucky to make it that far. Anyone who supports Big Oil, and is willing to back them up is going to be a HUGE turnoff for voters.  And quite frankly, if that was what this election was leaning on, Obama would take it by  a landslide.

I am loving every minute of it.  Just as soon as it came out early this morning, they were already peeing their pants.  Obama did a great job with this.  I love Joe, he was actually by first choice.  They will be a great team.  This is going to be a fun day.  Limbaugh must be about ready to explode. lol

At least Joe Biden can give a coherent answer to a question AND he takes a firm stand on his beliefs (even when they may not be popular) - those are good characteristics in a candidate/leader.  Too bad Obama doesn't demonstrate them.
