Im tired of ESPN and Baseball Tonight, always talking about the Red Sox and the Yanks, they get half of the show and everyone else gets a minute!! Im tired of it!!!!

Success, and only success, breeds media coverage!

Suddenly, all the band wagonneers have discovered the Angels.

Because of their name? Don't be silly!

Because under Mike Scoiscis's leadership and a management team that wants to win "local" bragging rights against the "DODGERS", the Angels are devastating the American League.

However, the bias in favor of East Coast teams still exists, because the "Eastern  Experts" don't want to stay up late and look at the network's feed of the outstanding baseball that is being played outside of the "Eastern Expert's" baliwick

ESPN is garbage.  How do you think we Rays fans feel.  We've been 1st or second in the division most of the year and we get no respect.  The only time you hear the Rays mentioned is when they ask if the Red Sox or the Yankees can catch them.   They should call it BS-PN.

1. Larger audiences/ratings from those markets. It definitley sucks, but thats how the world of TV works.

2. If it the 10:00 ET edition, then many other games are still in progress so they can't show highlights or use the talking points until after the game ends.

I live in the MidWest and yes they are biased not only to the East Coast but only to the RED SOX.  I just get tired of seeing the Red Sox on TV. Everything is the Red Sox.  If a Met pitcher hits a Brave batter, it's because the Red Sox line up was too strong.  If a Pirate shortstop made an incredible play it's because the Red Sox defense has this average.  I really get tired of this whole Beantown thing.
