Is everyone guilty of contributing to climate change?

Are we guilty of adding to the problem of climate change when we are born?

After all babies need diapers, food, clothes which require factories, and all factories pollute even if it's just driving the product to the store.

Am I thinking about this right?

  1. Yup, sadly- everyone's guilty of contributing to climate change.

If you wanna do stuff to slow down global warming -

*Plant a WHOLE BUNCH of trees

    *Carpool

    *Recycle all your papers

*Donate and sign Petitions for groups like NRDC, PETA, lifesaver

    *Ride bikes

*change all ur lightbulbs in ur house to energy-saving ones

    *stop using your fireplace

    =D

  2. Yes, probably.

  3. Primitive societies, the poor, and those embracing voluntary simplicity may be relatively innocent.

The jet setters, etc. could be a bit guiltier.

  4. No.

Global warming is a big scam manipulated by the governments worldwide to provoke panic attacks in societies and to control them with brainwashing techniques.

The most viable solution from the governments is to become addicted to Prozac.

    My 2 cents.

  5. Yes, all peoples of the earth are guilty to one degree or another. But it's a matter of degrees that counts. Industrialized nations, by way of their manufacturing and consumer base are the worst. It's said that Americans have the largest carbon footprint of any other nation, but I haven't seen any hard data to back it up. Mind you, Americans also produce the vast majority of the world's wealth, but that's another topic.

  6. Every critter that has occupied the earth is guilty of changing it. Many critters who come from space are guilty of it. Climate change is a matter-of-fact reguardless of our miniscule time of accounting. Earth is a living, breathing, changing ; mysterious form of matter. We can never know all her mysteries or elude to her substance. Man's reasoning is so flawed that to infer a truth about her is to become highly suspect of man's motives. Tread lightly here- seek God for His allowed insight. Perhaps you may be enlightened if He so deems appropiate.

  7. Unless you're a hermit living in the mountains off of nature, or forest abarigions, who make and live off the earth, then you're contributing to global "garbage" and creating changes in our earth.

  8. Yes - Everyone is guilty of causing global warming.  "Global Warming" is the new original sin that everyone is guilty of for the crime of just being born.

How sad we've come to this......

Global warming is truly a religion.

  9. NO,,,,,

  10. Yes.

I can't remember the program, I think it was the one Edward Norton narrated, that showed the impacts generated from birth.  It was awfully impressive.  They broke it down into stages.  Early childhood. Teens.  Young Adults.  The latter years.

    It was very enlightening.

So is the site below. It takes 20 minutes to watch the whole thing, but I recommend you do.

  11. Guilt probably involves making wrong decisions, not merely being born.

If we have no choice in the matter, we are not guilty, no matter how much we contribute.
