  1. Yes. There are way too many commercials and the same songs are replayed every hour. We have the XM radio and love it, though I think an MP3 player would serve just as well and would be cheaper. We didn't have Internet access at the time of purchase though and didn't intend on getting it so soon.

  2. Don't really listen to the radio

  3. i agree! :)

  4. Everyone should be aware that Howard Stearn sucks along with his idiot entourage and juvenile fans. Can you listen to the same old high school locker room jokes all day long? Ba ba booey! Grow up. That was mildly amusing a decade ago. d**k Hurt indeed.

  5. Apparently you listen to the wrong stations...

The stations I listen to... are no repeat 24 hours....

I refuse to pay for radio......

  6. have u ever listened to the chris moyles breakfast show. its on a bit early in the morning from 6.30 but if u have a computer then u can listent to the show again for free!!! it is really funny and plays the best music at that time.

  7. It sucks, but it's free. If you want to hear a bunch of songs you like with no comercials, then why not just buy an mp3 player with a car adapter?

  8. Not all regular radio sucks.. Just like satellite radio does a lot of repeats on some stations.

OH my God, he said something bad about XM and Sirius...

Facts are, Terrestrial radio tries to go after people with the latest songs and occasional listeners. Sat radio is aimed at people who spend a fair amount of time listening to radio. While XM and Sirius don't repeat as often , they do repeat on many stations.

But currently I don't have enough time spent where I can catch a good Sat signal to be willing to pay that much for radio.

And as I said, give it 10 years and Sat radio will be limping along like terrestrial is in the big cities (as I find small town stations play that wider variety most people miss)....

When people can start webstreaming content on the run reliably, why pay $12.95 to hear 3 stations out of say 100 and still hear DJ chatter (Oh and BY the way Commercials are coming to Satellite radio within the next few years...Fans of Stern already get them now and they are paying to hear them) when they will be able to pay and get stations that tailor to them without the commericals or DJ chatter.

  9. Talk radio where ever it comes on.

  10. yeah I know!!!
