  1. Not everyone.  Depends what part of Mexico they are from.  Some parts are cold all year round, so people maintain a fair skin tone.  Other parts are burning hot, so there you would find some pretty dark skinned people.  (by the way, the beaches there are beautiful).

  2. No, there is plenty of white people, 10 to 15 percent, we  are basically a mix between Spanish and Native Americans, the percentage of white blood get higher in the north and west of Mexico, and if you go south and east the percentage of native american blood in people is higher. In the west north of Guadalajara  there is a zone call "Los Altos" where you can find a significant number of blonde people with blue eyes, try a picture on the web of GUILLERMO DEL TORO he is the typical blonde from that area  you can see also GAEL GARCIA BERNAL...he is from the west also.

Also there is a tendency of more white people in the middle class and rich class Mexicans than in poor Mexicans.

Right now there is a million  white Americans and a subtancial number of Canadians living at Mexico, the other foreing white communities are Germans in the center of the country and south, Spanish  who has always been a large community, some french ( in Veracruz there is a town built just like an 18 century mediterranean french town) italians who came in the 19 century and today you can find them at Chipilo in the state of Puebla. Russinas came to Baja and some english people too; Here in Chihuahua we have Menonites and a Mormon community.

Aside europeans there is big and very important jewish community in Mexico City,  a bigger community that descents from middle eastern catholic people, mostly from lebanon ( Salma Hayek is one, another example will be Carlos Slim the 3rd richest person in earth)

There is a large number of Chinese people in Baja, and Chiapas but they are spread all over Mexico.

And a small percentage of afro- indian mixture in the coast of guerrero and some parts of Veracruz, if you ever in Acapulco you will see some of them,

So our  skin tone has all the colors in between white- brown and even black.

Sorry for make this answer too long

  3. Nope, you will find all different shades in Mexico.

  4. NO! Is everyone in American white or black or one certain color?

  5. No. We have people who are as white as anywhere in Europe, as black as anywhere in Africa and every tone in between. Anyone who tells you any different is either a liar or ignorant.

  6. not everyone is brown i heared that in guadalagara (state of mexico) there are moslty blonde and blue eye mexicans!

  7. I see some people have taken this as a racist question...I don't think that is what you intended at all...you have said NOTHING about only liking  light skinned people...I think you are simply curious. Also, the color of skin has nothing to do with living where the climate is hotter or colder!  There are people in Mexico descended from the Indian people, there are others descended from Europeans. others from Africans.  There are dark-skinned Mexicans with brown eyes, and redheads with bue eyes.  Many people are a mix, with both Indian and European ancestors. It is a very diverse country.

  8. Mexico is ethnically diverse, and the constitution defines the country to be a pluricultural nation.

Mestizos (those of mixed Spanish and Amerindian ancestry) form the largest group, comprising up to 60-75% of the total population.

Amerindians called indigenous peoples (indígenas) are estimated to be between 12% (pure Amerindian). Indigenous peoples are considered the foundation of the Mexican pluricultural nation and therefore enjoy self-determination in certain areas. Indigenous languages are also considered "national languages" and are protected by law.

Whites make up 17% of the population, mostly descendants of the first Spanish settlers; although there are a minority of French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Irish, Polish, Romanian, Russian and British descents from recent contemporary migration after the waves of immigration that brought many Europeans at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, along with some Canadians and Euro-Americans from the United States. Most are found in major cities.
