Is everyone really as sure of themselves as they seem?

I find it so easy to mold to just about any situation, and I find it just as easy to mold to new ideas and opinions. Occasionally I will meet someone who seems to have a huge problem with my lack of strong opinions and firm convictions. Why is this such an issue for some? What's so bad about living life free of constraints? Is everyone really as sure of themselves as they seem?

  1. unfortunatly society is all about restraints, conformity etc, so as you go forth with your firm convictions and beliefs and strong ideas it will at times bring you into conflict with the social norms that are ' already ' in place - then at that point i suppose its then your choice whether you fall into place and conform to the ideas already accepted or established or you continue with your own strong ideas and morals.

most are frightened to go against the grain of what society conditions the masses to think , so most fall into line.

just an obervation  , but i see your unique point of view
