Question:

Is everyone really that shallow?

Okay, my sister does not shave her legs...but I do because in my opinion I think it looks good. Anyway, we were at a theme park and we were on the water slides and I noticed some really mean girls laughing at her because she chooses not to shave. Although I shave I believe a girl should have the right to do as she believes without being made fun of by others. My sister is so nice, and smart, and I hated to see other people making fun of her because of her opinion I just wanted to smack them! Does anyone else agree with me? Thanks!

  1. well im glad you didnt slap them because i probably would have but its totally your sisters choice and those girls are just stuck up trust me not everyones that shallow

  2. ya agree.

    girls are just b*****s.

they just had to let out a laugh to feel better, believe me, i would of helped u smack the **** out of them.

  3. Absolutely, it should TOTALLY be her choice.  Let her do what she wants.

  4. Shaving legs is the standard for white females in the US. Childish mean girls laugh at anyone who doesn't follow standard rules, whether or not it's their decision. They poke fun at people with thick glasses, bad skin, crooked teeth; tattoos, dyed hair, piercings, and failure to shave.

Your sister can shave or she can suffer knocks by shallow mean girls - it's her choice. Other people don't have the option to correct the "flaws" that draw cruelty.

  5. Absolutely. She has the right to do or not do whatever she wants...the same way those girls have the right to laugh at whatever/whoever they want. If she chooses not to shave her legs and show them, then she better have some thick skin to take the negative reactions from people because whether she likes it or not, hairy women are frowned upon in America. Unless she wants to move to Europe. If it didn't bother her then it shouldn't bother you.

  6. I'm sure your sister is nice. I'm sorry but I have to say that seeing a woman walk around with very long hair on her legs (not skipping a shave, but really letting it grow) is pretty bad. Same with not shaving your underarms.

  7. Not everyone. I never shave my legs. I'm like a big Sasquatch.  But seriously, she should have said something. Next time tell her to stand up for herself.

  8. Next time something like that happens (hopefully it won't, but probably because that's how people are) tell those biatches that you know where they live and you'll shave their heads in their sleep.

  9. Never have understood why women bother with that... seems a great waste of time and effort... who thought it up any way?

  10. People are shallow.  If you sister doesn't want to shave her legs then she shouldn't.  I shave and don't understand why some women don't, but you know what, big fat deal.  Live and let live.

Its really nice to see someone out there like you stand by your sis.  I just hope she doesn't change her ways just because of a few self centered brats in this world.

  11. To each their own.  If she feels more comfortable without shaving, who are others to judge?  Maybe those two girls aren't 'woman' enough to go without shaving and are tearing your sister down in an attempt to feel better about themselves and their shortcomings.
